Content Matrix
Summary: Companies don't always know what content to post on their social channels.
They don't know how to source it,
who the thought leaders are,
which topics they are actually trying to own, etc.
So they end up posting random things, or the same content over and over, or go for long stretches without posting anything.
What if we equipped businesses with a platform that helps you search for, catalog, structure and then report on content by topics. Rather than starting with "What do you want to post?" instead it prompts "Which topic are you interested in?"
We know how to search for content, we know how to schedule posts to social, we know how to report on our metrics, we know how to build an editorial calendar - but what if all that lived in one place?
Based on this premise, I created a concept software for social media managers called, “Content Matrix.”
This concept was born after I pieced together a multi-tool solution using:
Feedly (for topical searching)
Google Sheets (for cataloging and sharing between teams)
Zapier to connect it all
Sprinklr for scheduled posting and reporting
The Content Matrix would be a streamlined consolidation of each of these tools, but without the high price tag features of existing robust social media tools.
