There's one really impactful piece of content your company could create, but you haven't.
Something outside of the box, maybe long-form, alternative format, could be print even. No competitors have attempted it because they either never took the time to truly think about it or because they are too entrenched in the status quo.
It would be soaked through in user research and attached at the hip to your business strategy. It would have to be to keep it from becoming just another "pretty" marketing project.
Have you ever thought about creating something like this? Most likely you have, but you’ve never been able to find the time or resources to actually make it happen.

Traditionally, creating this kind of impact content required hiring a team or agency: Strategists, someone to wireframe and think through user experience, a writer (or two), a designer, maybe a developer if it’s digital, and then another person to handle distribution. Whew! That’s a lot.
Instead, hire me. I will own the project from concept to copywriting, and then work with your team of designers, developers and distributors to make sure this piece has its full impact.

Concept and Strategy
At this stage, all options are open, until they’re not. Picture a Guess-Who board at the start of the game. Our first few questions are crucial to removing obviously wrong choices. As we hone in, I may dig deeper into the audience, your business objectives, any previous research, look at competitors, map out a user journey or craft some JTBD personas. Nothing unnecessary, as I’m not here to produce pretty presentations, I’m here to help you create impactful content.
Wireframe and UX
We know what we’re trying to accomplish now, but not necessarily how. It’s a treasure map with the start and end destinations marked, but nothing in-between. I’ll start to put solid lines to paper, probably starting with a content model, and then present a few options to consider. Multiple rounds of revisions are in-store as I’ll be catering not only to the concept, strategy and brand but also empathizing with the user’s journey.
Copywriting
Often at this stage, consultants or strategists will pass the project off, but writing is my core skillset and passion, so I’ll see it through to the end. You’ll get actual words and phrases out of me. In the past this has included headlines, short-form, long-form copy, and everything in-between. But this has also included things like complex scoring criteria for quiz calculators and that special greeting message hidden inside the top flap of a custom deck of cards.

Design
You may have a designer on staff or someone part-time you already work with. I’ll work closely with them or through your project manager to make sure the wireframes are clear and the copy fits the space required.
Develop
If it’s a digital project, we may need development resources. I know how to write up the requirements in a way that clearly communicates the functionality needs.
Distribute
Next is the distribution. You may have a sales team, social channels, email list, prospect database or partner network. Whatever it is, we’ll have thought through distribution from the beginning and I’ll make sure whoever is handling this for you has what they need.
How much does something like this cost?
You’ll learn quickly when working with me that I’m candid and transparent at all times. I hope you find it refreshing, ha! Here’s the honest behind-the-scenes take on cost - Pricing something like this is difficult.
Every project is unique and the value it brings to each business varies quite a bit as well. While it would make it easier to have a set rate card for different services or set a standard hourly rate, my preference is to work with you and your budget to set a flat project rate.
Please know that I’m much more interested in doing worthwhile work with great people than I am in always trying to charge a top dollar. Let’s find a way to work together.
